From providing communications infrastructure to the US military for Desert Storm, to virtual reality in the entertainment industry, Bruce Heck has been a part of a wide ranging technology world for more than fifteen years. With industry leading experience in the Internet and high technology fields, Bruce has worked extensively in technology as well as in business strategy and finance.
Bruce previously worked in the Internet start-up world with Entertainment Online, a global, family-oriented gaming service as Chief Technical Officer/Technical Director. A board level position, this job covered technology strategy and planning of global broadband, satellite and software encryption services as well as the implementation of multi-host, multi-platform e-commerce systems throughout Europe and the United States.
More recently, he worked as Worldwide IT Director for The Lowe Group (as well as Octagon), a global advertising concern, part of the Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE:IPG) in charge of IT strategy and implementation as it grew from 12,000 staff in 80 offices over 30 countries to over 190 offices in over 80 countries.
While at Gameplay, Bruce provided the technology leadership and strategy for one of the largest European gaming companies. The requirements cover wholesale, retail, e-commerce and online gaming. He also oversaw the Israeli technology group, Gameplay Technologies, who created industry leading products in the areas of ITV, Broadband and online gaming.
